Moisture Probe: Battery Installation Setup

This page describes how to remove the battery guard and install the battery in the Moisture Probe.

Prerequisite:

None.

Remove rear cover:

1. Locate and remove the case screw using the supplied screwdriver.

2. Remove the rear cover

Remove plastic guard:

1. Remove the battery from the battery compartment.

2. Remove and discard the plastic guard

Reinsert Battery:

1. Reinsert the battery into the battery compartment.

Do not touch the leads of the probe while inserting the battery. Doing so will cause the calibration that occurs when a new battery is detected to be inaccurate.

Replace Rear Cover:

1. Replace the rear cover

2. Reinsert and tighten the case screw using the supplied screwdriver
